Test shoot behind the scenes

Today, we went into the TV studio to film our test shoot. This is basically a rehearsal for our music video, so we can see how we wont to position everyone and what angles we want to do. 

We set up some lights and filmed on Gabi's phone, against a black curtain. Then we started by filming the band for the full 2:20 seconds with a wide shot.

While this was happening, Gabi and I also took lots of photos, so we could make another storyboard, this time with pictures from the rehearsal

 

We also did a closeup of Harry singing through the whole song, and mid-shots of the back up singers/guitarists.

                                        

After this, we went into Mike's classroom to use his projector. I played the liquid light show video on youtube and the musicians and dancers were filmed in front of it.

How it went:

Although we had a bit of difficulty finding a time where everyone was free, i think the shoot went really well. It was very cool to see it start to come together, and see how everyone would look together and with their instruments.
