Test Shoot Feedback

Test Shoot Feedback

Today in class, we showed everyone our test shoot video, so we could get feedback on what went well and what we need to improve. This way we can get an outsiders perspective, which will be very helpful with developing our ideas.

This is a recording of the feedback:

What went well:

- They really liked the projections and though it added a cool element to it

- they all look great together and like a real band

- Emma's (the first dancer's) smiling shows she really wants to be there and looks great

- the 60s filters and effects also add to the retro vibe really well

What do you need to improve/change/develop:

- need to make sure Harry (our lead singer) knows the lines (important)

- Zac (lead guitarist) needs to learn guitar solo

- make Tally (the second dancer) smile more so her energy matches Emma's

- Would be better for the to band interact with each other more, especially looking up, and smile and be happy

- perhaps include something else in the first set (maybe put dancers earlier)

- have dancers in the same place in front of the projections

-what are they gonna wear so they don't get lost behind the images

What are you doing to improve: - Extra posts after/responding to the feedback

-we are gonna introduce the dancers earlier in the video, in the first set, so that it doesn't become repetitive/boring

-we will also do another rehearsal with the band so we can make sure they are comfortable and confident with what they are doing, and we can work on how they interact with each other/the camera.
-During this rehearsal we can also bring all the costumes so our cast can try them on, and we can see if we need to make any alterations
