An artists website is crucial for their campaign and spreadability. Websites are easy to find and share, and can be easily customisable to fit the needs of the artist, and fit the aesthetics and genre they are a part of. There are many reasons that every artist or band show have a professional website... 

Why are websites important?

-They are virtually and online store

-can show updates and information for fans

-the artist can promote their social media and links

-it's an extra form of promotion; for tours, merchandise, album, and the artist themselves 

-has more basic and important info (simplistic). Unlike social media, visitors of the website don't need to scroll and look for the most important info, as it will be very clear and one of the first things you see on the website. 

Benefits of a website:

-you don't need an existing account, meaning more accessibility for people without social media, such as younger and much older audiences

-a website helps construct their star image and makes the look more professional, whereas their social media would be more personal 

-markets their products and includes social media 

- it is updatable for new changes, whereas social media has a different algorithm where people might need to see the post soon after its been uploaded
