Costume fitting

Costume fitting

Today, we arranged a time to meet with our group so they could try on all the costumes and we could see if they fit or if we needed to make any alterations.

I bought in an outfit change for each of the girls because i wanted to keep the video exciting, and this way we can add more 60s elements to the video, and make it even more clear when theres a set change.

For Emma, dancer 1, I chose a 1960s vintage abstract patterned colourful mini dress with an a-line skirt, a high neck line and puff sleeves. I paired this with hot pink tights and blue leather buckle shoes, with a checked block heel.

The inspiration for the dress was Pattie Boyd's outfit she wore in 1967

For Tally's second outfit, i chose a 1960s vintage pink felt mini dress, with long sleeves and and a high neckline. I paired this with white tights and we chose between brown suede loafers and cream and tangerine low block heels, and went with the latter.

The inspiration for this outfit is Colleen Corby's mid 60s fashion shoots

And here are the outfits i styled and put together for the band

Zac: Lead guitar

Alfie: Drums

Max: Rhythm guitar

Harry: Lead singer

This is the other outfit for the dancers: a black and white panelled mini dress and patent knee high white gogo boots with a block heel

The inspiration for these outfits came from 60s gogo dancers and Mary Quant style panel dresses
