Music vid 2: Feel by Candy
About the band:
-Candy is a modern day indie/alternative band
-they sound similar to artists such as Declan Mckenna, The Kooks and Vampire weekend
-theres a catchy simple melody with harmonising vocals
-soft, folk sounding but upbeat
The video:
-My idea is that the three/four piece band (bass, lead singer, drummer, keyboard) are performing in a plain white set with four walls, and they're all dressed in black with not much colour
-as the video goes on, it clips between them playing their instruments and them starting to spray paint the walls and throw paint all over the set and each other
-there are also split screens between the set at the start and the end that also work as a comparison
-a few shots are also shot in reverse and with kaleidoscope effects
-This would work for the band's star image becausewe get to see them act young and show their relationship with each other as they mess around
-Them messing about also juxtaposes the lyrics of the track, but works well with the tempo and beat of the song
