Getting into our groups

Getting into our groups

Today, Mike put us into our groups, and although we only have three, im really happy with who's in my group because I loved their ideas and I feel like we will get on really well.

The first thing we did was made a WhatsApp group, so we could have a chat to contact each other about meeting up to work together, and a place for updates.

It's already been useful to quickly answer questions when we're all working on the project out of school.

Which idea did we decide on?

After discussing what we liked about each of our pitches, we decided to go with my 60s idea, which I'm so excited about.

However, we still needed one more aspect for my idea that needed to be developed.
As we loved the silhouettes in Gabi and Chloe's videos we thought it would be great to do one more set, with the girls behind different coloured screens, dancing. We will develop this idea more later on, when we can all meet up again to go through the details, but we now have all the basics sorted out including:
-how many we need in the cast (8)
-what sets we need (three different ones)
-what costumes we need (I have already sorted out a Pintrest board of ideas)

Over the next few days we will start to create our visual treatment to present to the another teacher, Luke:

We used google slides so we could all edit the presentation at the same time
